Introduction
The reason for making this page is to help me and Mea decided who will be playing the characters in our music video and why. This page will help us though-out the rest of our planning as it will help are decisions in mise-en-scene, shot list and treatment.Casting for the 'Girl'
1
Their name: Ophelia
Characters name: 'Girl'
Their age: 17
Characters age: No age
Reasons:
After filming all the possible girls to be casted for our music video me and Mea have decided to chose Ophelia. the reason for this is how natural and confident she is in front of the camera as well as the impressive lip-syncing. We also believe that the appearance of Ophelia would suit the genre of music the song and video is going to be.

2
Their name: Hannah
Characters name: 'Girl'
Their age: 17
Characters age: No age
Reasons:
We will not be choosing Hannah to play as the 'Girl' as she seem to find it awkward to perform to us as well as needing some convincing to video her. Another reason is that Hannah will not suit the genre of the song including the shots, angles and objects we would video. Although she would not be a good choose for the genre she did perfectly lip-sync to the song.

3
Their name: LucyCharacters name: 'Girl'
Their age: 17
Characters age: No age
Reasons:
Me and Mea have decided to also chose Lucy as the 'Girl' against the other girls casted. The reasons for this was her physical appearance as well as her presents in front of the camera. Lucy's lip syncing wasn't the best however her confidence and her physical looks are what we need for the music video were the best and this is what lead us to choosing Lucy as well as Ophelia.

4
Their name: Des'ree
Characters name: 'Girl'
Their age: 17
Characters age: No age
Reasons:
Des shows complete confidence when in front of the camera however her confidence was to forward and can be seen as over powering. We do know want the characters to be the main focus in the video so we will not choose Des to play the 'Girl'.

Casting for the 'Boy'
1
Their name: Kieran
Characters name: 'Boy'
Their age: 17
Characters age: No age
Reasons:
Kieran was completely different when put in front of the camera which lead him to look extremely awkward and uncomfortable. We will not cast Kieran as the 'Boy' because of these reasons however he would of suited the genre the most but would of been to shy to act. He also did not know the words to his chosen song which was a worry to us as we thought he would find it hard to lip-syncing to a song he hasn't heard of.

2
Their name: Sam
Characters name: 'Boy'
Their age: 17
Characters age: No age
Reasons:
Just like Des, Sam was to over confident and would control the viewers attention if we was to cast him as the 'Boy'. He did okay on the lip-syncing however this still doesn't ignore the fact that he is to loud and over the top for the music video we would like to create.

Conclusion
Overall me and Mea have chosen to cast Ophelia and Lucy as both the 'Girl'. The reason for this was while we were in the middle of casting potential actors for the 'Boy' we decided we didn't need this character in the music video anymore. We also found that Lucy and Ophelia had the most confidence and suited the genre of the music video. the best. They also picked songs with male voices without our influence and this helped us see how they would cope with lip syncing to Matt Corby's song and they suited it successfully.
