Matt Corby is an Australian singerisong-writer. He achieved his first commercial breakthrough with his fourth EP called, "Into the flame" in 2011. This reached number 3 in the ARIA singes charts. The following year in April (2012) he was certified 6x Platinum by ARIA. Matt's single "brothers" and "resolution" both won ARIA music awards for the song of the year. "brothers" won in 2011 and "resolution" won in 2013. He reached the number one position in ARIA albums charts with his debut album "Telluric" in 2016. He was part of Australian idol
however, developed a lot of hate across the country. he came second overall in Australian idol. He found that leaving his house started to become an issue. This led to Matt realising the ordinary life no longer existed and had shifted in a fairy unpleasant way. when getting back into song writing he found that it was "agonising teen therapy" The style he was writing became very dark and bitter. He began to regain his confidence as not just a songwriter but as a person. he first began to gig at the age of 15, before the "fame life" struck.Matt Corby's discography:
